This show is for one of my Twitter buddies @hinterspelunk who is a huge Jack Pearson fan. I think he might have went to this show. If you are on Twitter and I am not following you hit me up @ozzybeef so we can connect there.
These two guys right here are both incredible musicians. Jack Pearson is an awesome electric guitarist and played with The Allman Brothers Band for a couple years. Stuart Duncan played fiddle for The Nashville Bluegrass Band and has gone on to play with plenty of other people. He plays on the Robert Plant & Allison Krauss show and also this Tim O’Brien Band show. Recently he was in the studio recording with Willie Nelson’s Bluegrass Band. Looking forward to that release next year.
The tunes they play range from acoustic blues, boogie woogie to gospel tunes. Jack Pearson plays the mandolin really well too. You can hear him play mando on the fiddle tune “Forked Deer” right here.
