For post #2 today we have a great show from the best female singer around.   I love the work she has done backing up other singers like Gram Parsons and Willie Nelson, but she can lead the show on her own too.

And the Hot Band is scorching on this one.   Check out guitarist Albert Lee burn on “Country Boy”.  

Emmylou sings tunes by Gram Parsons, Townes Van Zandt and Buck Owens.   She does the Merle Haggard song “Tonight the Bottle Let Me Down” which you can sample over here.
