Chris Smither – Middle Earth Music Hall – Bradford, VT – 10.28.2004

ChrisSmitherGot a request from Ric for some Chris Smither ages ago and it’s taken a while but here it is.   I’m excited for his new record Time Stands Still that comes out at the end of the month.

I’ve always loved Doc Watson’s blues / folk finger-picking and someone told me to look up Chris Smither.   Apparently Doc and Chris played shows together back in the ’70′s.

There is a great show from Lenox, MA 1973 that you can stream on Wolfgang’s Vault.   It does require an email address to set up an account over there.    He plays a nice version of the Dylan tune “Down In The Flood” you should check out.

I posted the song “Can’t Shake These Blues” over here that you can listen to.
