Buddy Miller has been posted here a couple times.   There is a another solo show, a Three Girls and Their Buddy show and the Robert Plant & Allison Krauss show.   I decided to post this one because just got my plane tickets to Australia at Christmas and I am pretty damn excited about heading to the mother country.   I can taste the VB and the meat pies already!

If you are looking for some Buddy and Julie Miller shows head over here, some other great artists are featured on that site also.   Big shout out to Ric for letting me know about all the Townes Van Zandt shows on this site.

Bill Chambers plays a couple tunes on this show.   He is one of Australia’s best guitar players, next to the greatest axeman in all of Country Music, Keith Urban.   I posted “That’s How I Got To Memphis” over here, as a sample.

Another great show. Thanks again for this and for the Three Girls and Their Buddy, which has been in steady rotation.

I think I have a show an Emmylou show with Spyboy that I will have to hunt down. Buddy is a great music man. He and Julie are on Kasey Chambers first CD which I like a lot.

Tom Russell. Hard to find any shows. Great songwriter and performer.

That’s a great idea. There was a great set posted on A Truer Sound recently:

Hey Luke,
Checkout these sites for music downloads. http://tela.sugarmegs.org/ and http://www.archive.org/details/etree. Take a look at shockennaw mountain boys and the railroad earth show on the archive. Got the Tom Russell over on truer sound, that’s how I found you. Have a nice weekend.

Luke Harris October 2, 2009 at 2:35 pm

Yah the archive is a treasure mine of great shows. It’s good that you can sample them there too.

ooooooh…..and thanks for the comment on kieth urban, not ofen he gets a heads up on these sorts of blogs,i’ve seen him a few times now and he is a great guitar player(alough if i’m honest i think brad paisley edges it as best guitar player in modern country, only just though, lol)

Luke Harris October 20, 2009 at 10:09 pm

Thanks for the comment, Kevin.

Brad Paisley can play but I can’t really listen to his stuff because all his songs are kind of dumb.

Colin October 31, 2009 at 5:13 am

Yes, Buddy Miller and Brad Paisley are great guitarists.

Have you guys checked out Albert Lee. His guitar playing is just amazing!
