Bruce Hornsby – Telluride Bluegrass Festival- 6-24-1989

Bruce

Concluding the Telluride Bluegrass series, this show that is really a lot of fun.   With a stripped down version of his band The Range, Bruce Horsnby throws a party with plenty of special guests.

This set goes to a new level when Bruce does a few songs of his hero Leon Russell, with Leon’s old back up band New Grass Revival.

A great version of “Valley Road” is the featured song that you can stream here.

If you love Bruce Hornsby, be sure to also grab the show he did with Bela Fleck & The Flecktones from Telluride 1998 on The Falcons Blog.

Considering all the amazing tunes I have shared on this blog so far you may be concerned that it may not last much longer.   Fear not, there is incredible depth to the Great American Music Archive and there is plenty more to come.   So grab the RSS feed or get updates via email, because I’m gonna fill up your life as I fill up your iPod.
